Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Covered. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1The basics

Covered is provided by Nexium Web Development ("Nexium", "we", "us"). You must be 18 or over and have authority to enter this agreement on behalf of your venue or business.

2The service

Covered provides staff scheduling, availability and operational record-keeping tools — rotas, temperature logs, allergen records, checklists and incidents. We may add, change or remove features over time as we improve the product.

3Free trial

New accounts get a 7-day free trial with no card required. When the trial ends, you'll need an active subscription to keep using Covered. Your data stays safe and waiting either way.

4Subscription & payment

Covered costs £1 per active staff member, per month, billed through Stripe. Your bill reflects the number of active staff on your account. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing page and keep access until the end of your paid period. We don't provide pro-rata refunds for partial months, and we'll give reasonable notice of any price change.

5Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for keeping your login secure, and for using Covered lawfully. You must have the right to enter any staff data you add, and to tell your staff how their data is used (see our Privacy Policy).

Compliance stays yours. Covered is a record-keeping and scheduling tool. It helps you log temperatures, allergens and checks — but it does not replace your legal duties for food safety, employment or health-and-safety compliance. You remain responsible for meeting those obligations and for the accuracy of your records.

6Acceptable use

Please don't misuse Covered: no unlawful use, no attempting to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, no reselling access, and no uploading other people's data without the right to do so.

7Your data & our software

You own the data you put into Covered. We own Covered itself — the software, brand and design. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8Availability

We work to keep Covered running reliably, but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance or updates from time to time.

9Warranties & liability

Covered is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

10Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or don't pay. Your data is never deleted simply because a payment fails.

11Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; we'll post changes here and update the date above, and continued use means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
